The story of Mt. Dudley

This land was owned by Dudley Woodbridge when Blennerhassett traveled down river looking for a place to locate his future home. Woodbridge thought the ideal location was on this hill top that overlooked the Ohio River. He convinced Mr. Blennerhasset to see for himself, and they began to walk up to the top. Half way up Blennerhassett tired and turned back choosing rather the Island further down the River. Be sure to visit the Blennerhasset Island State Park.
