Sheridan Pool, March 1, 1977

Sheridan Pool, 67, Muskegon, Mich., a former resident of Washington County, died yesterday.

He was born at Newell’s Run, a son of the late Carl and Rachel Martin Pool.

He married Alma Moore, who survives with four children: Enid, James, Rose and Patricia, all of Muskegon. Three brothers survive, Charles and Edward, both of Muskegon, and Blame, Holland, Mich.

Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Clock Funeral Home, Muskegon, with burial in Restlawn Cemetery, Muskegon

Goldie E. Pritchett

Goldie E. Pritchett, 97, of Warren Street, Marietta, died at 10:46 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 20, 2006) at Harmar Place.

She was born at Newport on March 29, 1909, a daughter of Alexander and Nettie Wise Thomas. She was a homemaker.

Goldie was married to Clarence Pritchett, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by four sons and one daughter, Charles (Diane) Hill Jr. of Marietta, Freeman (Joan) Pritchett of St. Petersburg, Fla., James Pritchett of Marietta, Randall “Randy” (Donna) Pritchett of Marietta, Shelby (Larry) Boyer of Fleming; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home. Calling will begin noon Friday and continue until the hour of the service. Family will greet friends from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday.
