Newport – Mr. and Mrs. Walter Barth of Cleveland spent Easter at the home of Mrs. Barth’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred O’Neal.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kay McElhose and grandson, Kay of Aliquippa, Pa., visited recently with his sister and family, Rev. and Mrs. R. D. Cunningham.

 

Capt. Donald Lauer of the Inspectors General office at Mitchell Fields, New York is spending a few days with his parents, Mr. and Mrs., John Lauer.

 

Mrs. R. W. Knox of Marietta spent a few days this week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Lauer.

Mr. and Mrs. Bayne Petty of Barlow spent Sunday at eh home of Mr. and Mrs. George Holbert and family.

 

Word was received Monday by Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hoff that Mr. and Mrs. George Woodrow, Jr., are the parents of a son. Mrs. Woodrow will be better known as Betty Hoff. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hoff and Mr. and Mrs. George Woodrow, Sr. of Nerbert, Pa. Great-Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Travis.

 

Miss Grace Reckard of Cleveland spent her Easter vacation with her mother, Mrs. Eva Reckard.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Scott and daughter, Carol Ann and Miss Joann Malak of Akron and Miss Dorothy Malak of Athens spent Saturday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Owen Berga and son, Paul.

 

Mrs. Alice Fred is able to be out again.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Greene and son, Stevie, and sister, Joan Greene, spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. George Owens at ST. Marys.

 

Edwin Travis spent Easter with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Travis.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hendricks and Children, Connie and Johnny, returned home Saturday from a two week trip to Illinois and Kansas. Mrs. Hendricks parents, Dr. and Mrs. Wm. Klingbery of Hope, Kansas, accompanied them home for a visit.

 

Bob and John Trump spent the week end at the Heeter home.

 

Mrs. W.D. Greene and son, Don, spent the week end in Marietta visiting her daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hall, and Mr. and Mrs. Gail McVay and family.

 

David Edgar spent Easter at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Edgar.

 

Junior Riggs is visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. Edward Farnsworth.
